Women's national team of Ukraine took second place at the European Championship

From 11 to 23 October in Budva, Montenegro, the European Women's Boxing Championship was held. According to the results of the competition, the Ukrainian women's team won six medals at the tournament - 3 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze. In the team standings, the Ukrainians came second, losing to the Irish, who also have 3 gold medals, but one silver medal more. The top three were closed by the representatives of Bulgaria.

Will Swedes and Finns boycott competitions involving Russians?

Anastasia Taran became European champion

At the 2022 European Junior Championships, which takes place in Montesilvano, Italy, Anastasia Taran from Dnipro won a split decision 4:1 (29:28, 29:28, 29:28, 28:29, 29:28) over Mary McDonagh from Ireland and became the owner of the gold medal of the championship in the weight category 70-75 kg. Prodivus has held this post since 2008. Dmitry Shentsev remained the first vice-president of the FBU; vice-presidents of the FBU, the composition of the Executive Committee and the general secretary were also elected.
