On October 31 in San Antonio, a very interesting duel will take place between Gervonta Davis (23-0, 22 KOs) and Leo Santa Cruz (37-1-1, 19 KOs). Interestingly, at the stake this meeting there will be WBA championship belts in two weight categories - the super featherweight and lightweight. On the eve of this fight, Gervonta Davis held an open training session.
Gervonta Davis vs. Leo Santa Cruz is one of the biggest boxing matches of the year and has officially been moved to October 31st because they want fans in attendance. The fight was originally set for Oct. 24 but Gervonta's promoter Floyd Mayweather "wanted to ensure he would be able to fight in front of fans."
Gervonta Davis (23-0, 22 KOs) is training hard ahead of his October 24 fight against Leo Santa Cruz (37-1-1, 19 KOs). A new portion of his sparring video has appeared on the network, judging by which, no one spares himself at the training.
The next boxing evening on Showtime will be held at the television studio in Los Angeles. It is still not exactly known when the American television channel will decide to return to live sport shows.
