Qualification for the 2024 Olympics starts in Poland on Friday

The European Games 2023 have started in Krakow, Poland, within which, starting from Friday, an amateur boxing tournament will be held, where men and women will compete for Olympic licenses. Women will compete in six categories, men in seven. During the competition, which will be held in Nowy Targ, 22 boxers and 22 female boxers will receive a ticket to the Olympic Games in Paris 2024.

Women will compete in the following weight categories:

50 kg (4 licenses), 54 kg (4), 57 kg (4), 60 kg (4), 66 kg (4) and 75 kg (2)

Men will compete in the following weight categories:

51 kg (2 licenses), 57 kg (4), 63.5 kg (4), 71 kg (4), 80 kg (4), 92 kg (2) and +92 kg (2)

The tournament draw will take place tomorrow. Ukraine in this tournament is represented by the following line-up.

Tatyana Kob (up to 50 kg), Anastasia Kovalchuk (up to 54 kg), Marianna Basanets (up to 57 kg), Anna Ohrey (up to 60 kg), Maria Bova (up to 66 kg), Anastasia Chernokolenko (up to 75 kg).
