Bakhodir Jalolov (13-0, 13 KOs) successfully balances his professional and Olympic careers. The Uzbek recently defended his world title in Olympic boxing and secured his participation in the Olympic Games in Paris.

Jalolov won Olympic gold in Tokyo in 2021. He is currently participating in the Asian Games, where he needed to reach at least the finals in order to receive an Olympic license for the tournament next year in the French capital. And today he fulfilled this condition.

In the semi-finals, Jalolov met with Danabieke Bayikewuzi. The Chinese boldly walked forward, but the faster Jalolov successfully met him with a right-left combination 43 seconds before the end of the first round, and the fight was over. Despite the fact that the opponent quickly stood up, the referee decided to stop the match.
