Lennox Lewis picked Mike Tyson to beat Tyson Fury in a dream fight between the two heavyweight champions in their prime. The former undisputed heavyweight champ didn't think twice when asked about the matchup.

Lewis knows both fighters well. He retired after beating everyone he faced, including avenging losses to Oliver McCall and Hasim Rahman. He also stopped Mike Tyson in 2002 and called it quits after beating Vitali Klitschko on cuts in 2003.

For over 20 years, Lewis held the title of last undisputed heavyweight champion. That changed in May 2023 when Oleksandr Usyk beat Tyson Fury to claim all the belts.

In a recent chat with Mail Sport Boxing, Lewis was asked who'd win between prime versions of Mike Tyson and Tyson Fury. He picked 'Iron' Mike without missing a beat.

Lewis's career was full of ups and downs. He was WBC champ with three defenses before losing to McCall in 1994. He got the belt back in their 1997 rematch. In 2001, Rahman knocked him out, but Lewis got revenge the next year.

His fight with Tyson in 2002 was a big deal. Lewis won by knockout, cementing his place as the top heavyweight of his era.

Tyson's getting back in the ring this November. He's fighting Jake Paul in a fight that's raising eyebrows. It's a pro bout that'll go on both fighters' records.

Fury's got a big fight coming up too. He's facing Usyk again in December, trying to get back the belts he lost earlier this year. It's his chance to erase the only loss on his record.

Lewis's pick of Tyson over Fury shows how much respect he has for 'Iron' Mike's skills. Even with Fury's size and style, Lewis thinks prime Tyson would've been too much to handle.
