The unified heavyweight champion of the world, Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk, regained first place in the pound-for-pound rating by the authoritative magazine The Ring.
This happened after the absolute super middleweight champion, American Terence Crawford, announced his retirement.
The updated P4P rating from The Ring:
1. Oleksandr Usyk (Ukraine).
2. Naoya Inoue (Japan).
3. Jesse Rodriguez (USA).
4. Dmitry Bivol (Russia).
5. Artur Beterbiev (Russia).
6. Junto Nakatani (Japan).
7. Shakur Stevenson (USA).
8. David Benavidez (USA).
9. Devin Haney (USA).
10. Oscar Collazo (Puerto Rico).
Recall that in July, Usyk knocked out Daniel Dubois in the fifth round and for the second time claimed all the titles in heavyweight. In November, the Ukrainian voluntarily vacated the WBO belt in favor of Fabio Wardley.
