Anthony Joshua (29-4, 26 KOs) took some time to achieve what was intended, but in the end, he exhausted Jake Paul (12-2, 7 KOs) and knocked him out in the sixth round.
Paul kept his word and from the very first second actively used his legs perhaps on the biggest ring in the world, and moved quite well. Joshua in the first round was in no hurry and landed just one powerful right punch, which hit the guard.
After the break, AJ became more aggressive, and his opponent was simply focused on survival. The fight was not particularly spectacular, as Jake simply switched into survival mode. The third round proceeded in the same key, and AJ began showing signs of irritation.
The two-time world heavyweight champion shifted into high gear in the fourth round. A frightened Paul clinched, grabbed him in the middle of the ring, and fell, while the referee, instead of warning him, warned the Briton. However, Paul was losing his composure by the minute, and when in the fifth round he again went down on one knee after a right hook to the body, the referee kindly opened the count. Then a second knockdown followed, this time with a right hook through the guard. By the time the bell rang, the former blogger already looked quite tired.
In the sixth round, AJ immediately rushed to finish off the opponent. At first, he only slightly hit the opponent's forehead, but it was enough for the opponent to go down on one knee again. A minute later, Joshua finally delivered an accurate punch, and it all ended, though more from Paul's exhaustion than from the force of the blow.
