Usyk supports Joshua after tragic accident in Nigeria

Unified world heavyweight champion Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk offered words of support to his former opponent Briton Anthony Joshua, who was involved in an accident in Nigeria the day before.

As a result of the accident, trainers Sina Gami and Latif Ayodele were killed. AJ himself managed to escape with minor injuries.

“It is an incredible loss. Two wonderful people who were not only part of AJ's team but also his friends! My sincere condolences to their families, loved ones, and everyone who knew them. Anthony, I wish you a speedy recovery. Stay strong, champion!” Usyk wrote on X.
