Shannon Briggs, the former heavyweight champion who's fought legends like Lennox Lewis, George Foreman, and Vitali Klitschko, says he's ready to step back into the ring.

Briggs made waves in the boxing world when he told Bloody Elbow he's "100%" coming back. The two-time heavyweight champ didn't hold back, saying he'd take on anyone from Mike Tyson to Jake Paul.

"100% [I'm coming back]. I'll fight Mike Tyson, Jake Paul, anybody."

Briggs has been out of the ring since 2016, but his career is packed with big moments. He beat George Foreman in the late '90s and went toe-to-toe with Lennox Lewis for the world title. In 2006, he grabbed the WBO heavyweight belt by beating Siarhei Liakhovich, but lost it in his first defense against Sultan Ibragimov.

His last shot at a world title came in October 2010 when he faced off against Vitali Klitschko. Though Briggs lost that fight, he's faced some of the best in the business. Lewis was a three-time world champ and the last undisputed heavyweight king before Oleksandr Usyk. Foreman fought legends like Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier and became the oldest heavyweight champ ever. Klitschko beat 15 opponents in world title fights and, along with his brother Wladimir, ruled the heavyweight division in the 2000s and early 2010s.

Briggs' comeback talk comes as Mike Tyson and Jake Paul get ready to fight in November. Briggs seems excited about the match-up, saying:

"Great fight. It's great for Mike that at his age he can still make money. It's amazing."

Recent sparring footage shows Tyson might still have what it takes, even at his age.

If Briggs does make a comeback, he'll bring a wealth of experience. His battles with boxing's best, including a fifth-round stoppage loss to Lewis, have made him a familiar face in heavyweight boxing. Now, fans wait to see if "The Cannon" will fire again in the ring.
