In the main event of the boxing evening in Uniondale, New York, in a meeting of two former world champions Andre Berto (32-1, 24 KOs) scored a split decision win over Devon Alexander (27-5, 14 KOs). In the third round, Berto was knocked down, but was able to win on two cards due to the more active ending 115-112, 115-112 and 114-113 for Alexander.
