The former two weight world champion Devon Alexander (27-5-1, 14 KOs) will face the Ukrainian Ivan Redkach (22-4-1, 17 KOs) on June 1 in California in a 10-round fight. Alexander’s last fight took place last August when he lost by unanimous decision to Andre Berto. Redkach was last in action back in February, when he picked up a first round knockout win on the undercard of Leo Santa Cruz vs. Rafael Rivera at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.

Ukrainian super-lightweight Ivan Redkach (21-4-1, 16 KOs) reported that his fight scheduled for January 13 against Argentine Nicholas Velasquez (10-3, 3 KOs) will not take place. Redkach was supposed to fight at the evening of boxing in Los Angeles. In the same show, former rival of Vasyl Lomachenko (12-1, 9 KOs) Guillermo Rigondeaux (17-1, 11 KOs) will return to the ring. In the main event IBF Super Middleweight World Champion Jose Uzcategui will face the unbeaten top contender Caleb Plant.

Redkach lost to Molina in a spectacular battle

Super lightweight John Molina (30-7, 24 KO) in an extremely spectacular battle got a stoppage victory in the 4th round over Ivan Redkach (20-4-1, 16 KO). In the second round Redkach was able to knock Molina down, but in the third round he found on the floor himself and finally got knocked out at the end of the next round.
