Terence Crawford Crowns Unexpected Boxing Legend as Heavyweight GOAT: "No One Comes Close"

Crawford's opinion carries weight. He's got undisputed titles in two weight classes and plans to add more to his collection. He's eyeing a fight with Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez later this year, which could make him a five-weight world champion and undisputed in three divisions.

In a recent video, Crawford ranked heavyweight boxers from different eras. He called Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder, and Joseph Parker "good," while labeling Tyson Fury as "great" and Oleksandr Usyk as a "legend."

When it came to past legends, Crawford put George Foreman, Mike Tyson, and Lennox Lewis in the "legend" category. But he saved the highest praise for Muhammad Ali, naming him the greatest of all time.

Ali changed heavyweight boxing with his speed and movement. He wasn't just a fighter in the ring - he fought for civil rights and against racial injustice outside of it too.

Ali's career ended in 1981 with losses to Larry Holmes and Trevor Berbick. But in his prime, he avenged all of his losses and starred in iconic fights against Sonny Liston, George Foreman, and Joe Frazier.

Crawford's ranking of Ali as the greatest heavyweight ever shows the lasting impact "The Greatest" had on boxing and beyond.
