Canelo placed half a million dollars on Usyk’s victory

During a sponsored online broadcast, Saul Alvarez placed a bet of $500,000 on Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KO) to win in the fight for four heavyweight championship titles against Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KO).

“For the last five years, Usyk has been beating the best, he is in excellent shape, possesses brilliant technique and intelligence. When I see someone like that, I bet on him. That’s why I did it. Alexander, now you need to do your job,” Canelo said.

The fight between Alexander Usyk and Daniel Dubois will be the main event of the evening, which will take place on July 19 at Wembley Stadium in London.
