Miller is getting ready to face Fabio Wardley on June 7. But he's already looking past that fight, focusing on unfinished business with Joshua from 2019. Back then, they were supposed to fight, but Miller tested positive for banned substances. Andy Ruiz Jr stepped in and shocked the world by beating Joshua.
Joshua, a two-time world heavyweight champion and Olympic gold medalist, is trying to win another title before he retires. He's lost to both current champions, Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois.
Miller didn't hold back when he talked to IFL TV about Joshua:
"100% [there's unfinished business.] I heard he wants the fight still but his team is telling him no, stay away from Miller. I'm definitely gonna be his career ender if he fights me. He talks a big game when he wants to then he disappears when he gets his ass whooped. It's so funny, every time he gets his ass whooped he runs to Africa. I want to f**k him up, bad. I want that motherf***ing fight bad, still. I ain't about the money, I want to f**k him over."
Joshua is getting ready to train again, but he doesn't have an opponent yet. He'd like to fight Daniel Dubois or Tyson Fury, but both fighters have other plans. Fury has even announced his retirement from boxing.
If Miller beats former British Champion Fabio Wardley on June 7, Eddie Hearn might make the Joshua-Miller fight happen. But first, Miller needs to win that fight.
Joshua hasn't responded to Miller's challenge yet. He's focused on getting back to the top of the heavyweight division before he retires.
