There is another event scheduled for this coming summer that will be co-promoted by two British promotional organizations Matchroom Boxing and Queensberry Promotions. Eddie Hearn reported that one of the proposed fights between the two stables is a bout between Edgar Berlanga (23-1, 18 KOs) and Hamza Shiraz (21-0-1, 17 KOs).
Berlanga returned to the ring in March after losing to Saul Alvarez last year. In his last fight, the Puerto Rican defeated Jonathan Gonzalez in the first round.
In his last professional appearance, Shiraz drew a meeting with Carlos Adames in a WBC middleweight title fight. After that performance, the Briton announced that he was moving up to super middleweight.
