On July 11, the third fight between Katie Taylor (23-1, 6 KOs) and Amanda Serrano (46-2-1, 30 KOs) will take place at MVP Promotions Boxing Night in New York City. The boxers met at the press conference to kick off the tournament promotion. The event will be streamed live on Netflix.
Taylor has already won two fights, although both were very evenly matched. The first fight took place in 2022 and the second in November. In the rematch, both boxers earned record fees for women's professional boxing.
At stake in the third fight will be the IBF, WBA, WBO and WBC super lightweight titles held by the Irishwoman. The July tournament will feature women's only confrontations. Fans will see unification fights at featherweight and bantamweight, as well as a fight for four featherweight championship belts between Alicia Baumgardner and Jennifer Miranda.
