Jaron Ennis (34-0, 30 KO) won by technical knockout after the sixth round over Eimantas Stanionis (15-1, 9 KO) in the main event of the evening in Atlantic City. Thus, the American unified the IBF and WBA welterweight titles.
After a tense first few minutes, from the fourth round Ennis began to gain a clear advantage and take the upper hand over the Lithuanian. The American attacked in different planes, and Stanionis was particularly impressed with his body punches.
In the sixth round, the Lithuanian found himself on the canvas after a series of left punches. Stanionis did not advance to the seventh round, suffering the first defeat of his professional career. For Ennis, it was his most valuable win in the pro ring so far.
