Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn are gearing up for a big fight on April 26th at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The match has got people talking, and former boxer Tony Bellew has some strong opinions about Eubank Jr's skills.
Bellew didn't mince words when he talked about Eubank Jr. He called him a "terrible boxer" and said he's not as good as he thinks he is.
"I don't think Chris Eubank is the best boxer, I actually think he's a better fighter than he is boxer, technically, he's not very good," Bellew said. "I don't know where he gets off on thinking he's the specs coming of Roy Jones Jnr, because he's not."
Eubank Jr has had 37 fights, winning 34 with 25 knockouts. He's lost to some big names like George Groves and Billy Joe Saunders. But he's coming off two wins, including one against Liam Smith that made up for a previous loss.
Bellew thinks the fight will go two ways. He reckons Benn will do well in the first six rounds because he's aggressive and explosive. But after that, Eubank Jr might take over because he's bigger and can last longer.
"Conor knows what he is, he goes in and he lets his hands go, and his reckless, and he's wild and explosive and dynamic," Bellew explained.
For Eubank Jr to win, he'll need to handle Benn's attacks early on. Benn will have to be tough and try to win in the first half of the fight. Eubank Jr's plan will likely be to wear Benn down as the fight goes on.
Some people, like Amir Khan, think Benn's youth and power will win the day. But lots of fans are split on who'll come out on top.
The fight will be shown live on Sky Sports Box Office, and it's shaping up to be an exciting match between two rivals with a lot to prove.
