Next fight of Liam Smith is not determined yet.
Former World Light Middleweight Champion Liam Smith (32-3-1, 19 KOs) scored a fourth-round stoppage victory over Hassan Mwakinho (20-3, 14 KOs) in the main event of the evening at the Ecow Arena in Liverpool.
Duel Liam Smith (30-3-1, 17 KOs) and Jesse Vargas (29-3-2, 11 KOs) will take place on February 5 in Glendale, Arizona. This fight will be preceded by two championship fights. Carlos Cuadras (39-4-1, 27 KOs) will re-face Visaxil Wangek (50-5-1, 43 KOs) for the vacant WBC featherweight title. In May 2014, Wangek won by technical decision.
A live broadcast of the boxing night from the British Newcastle, in the main event of which Liam Smith (25-1-1, 14 KOs) and Liam Williams (16-1-1, 11 KOs) will meet in a rematch and at the stake of this fight will be a position of the official challenge for the vacant light middleweight WBO title. Their first meeting in April this year ended with a controversial stop because of the strong cut of Williams eyelid and the victory of former champion Smith, who could not make the weight before the fight.

The World Boxing Organisation today sanctioned the bout between Liam Smith and Liam Williams for the WBO interim super-welterweight world title. Smith and Williams’ showdown will take place at the Manchester Arena on Saturday April 8th, broadcast live on BT Sport and BoxNation.
