Canelo Alvarez Warns One Fighter About Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul Bout: "Boxing Is No Joke"

Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez has shared his thoughts on the upcoming fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul. The super-middleweight king expressed concerns about the risks for the 58-year-old former heavyweight champion.

The bout is set for November 15 at AT&T; stadium in Texas and will be broadcast live on Netflix. It's got people talking due to the big age gap between the two boxers.

Canelo, who rules the super-middleweight division, spoke about the match in an interview with Lewis Howes. He said:

"It's hard to say [who will win], but it's risky for Mike Tyson, because he's 57/58 years old and boxing is no joke. But I get why they are doing it, it's a business."

The fight was originally planned for July but had to be pushed back. Tyson had to delay due to an ulcer flare-up. He told his fans:

"I want to thank my fans around the world for their support and understanding during this time. Unfortunately, due to my ulcer flareup, I have been advised by my doctor to lighten my training for a few weeks to rest and recover."

Despite the setback, Tyson remained confident. He added:

"My body is in better overall shape than it has been since the 1990s and I will be back to my full training schedule soon. Jake Paul, this may have bought you some time, but in the end you will still be knocked out and out of boxing for good. I appreciate everyone's patience and can't wait to deliver an unforgettable performance later this year."

The delay has only increased worries about Tyson facing off against Paul, who's over 30 years younger. Paul, who started as a YouTuber before getting into boxing, will face a tough test against the former heavyweight champ, even with the big age difference.

As the fight date gets closer, more eyes will be on this unusual matchup. Will Tyson's experience trump Paul's youth? Or will the age gap prove too much for the boxing legend? We'll find out when they step into the ring at AT&T; stadium.
