It was in 1993 during a Tuesday Night Fights event where former street fighter Brian Sutherland was making his boxing debut at light heavyweight against Kenny Rainford. Before the fight, Sutherland bragged about how he would fight on the streets and was basically undefeated in all his fights. He thought he’d turn pro to make some money doing what he does best, fighting.

According to Pacquiao’s longtime Canadian adviser Mike Koncz Manny is being lured to bring his act to Australia to face local bet Jeff Horn but is also being eyed to see action in Dubai and even in England, according to Koncz. “We are not giving up on fighting in the States,” said Koncz, who will be discussing with prospective promoters the next few days.

Baranchyk will fight Feb 10 in Oklahoma

USBA champion and IBF #12 rated Ivan Baranchyk (13-0, 10 KOs) of Russia will next take on super lightweight Abel Ramos (17-1-2, 9 KOs) of Arizona. The 10 round main event will take place February 10th at the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, Oklahoma. The ShoBox televised main event bout will be fought at a contracted weight of 140 pounds. This will be Ramos’ third appearance on the series having a draw and a loss in his two previous appearances.
