It was in 1993 during a Tuesday Night Fights event where former street fighter Brian Sutherland was making his boxing debut at light heavyweight against Kenny Rainford. Before the fight, Sutherland bragged about how he would fight on the streets and was basically undefeated in all his fights. He thought he’d turn pro to make some money doing what he does best, fighting.
As soon as the bell rang, Sutherland rushed to the center of the ring and began to throw punches against his opponent. The fight immediately turned into a joke as neither commentator could stop laughing at the fact that Sutherland didn’t know how to throw a punch.
