According to Mexican media, former world champion Orlando Salido was arrested on December 31 in Sonora, Mexico, for taking part in a fight in one of the local bars. According to eyewitnesses, the fight broke out when Salido applied force against one of the girls in the bar. During the fight, the wife of Salido was injured, when the guards unsuccessfully tried to calm the boxer.
