Matchroom Boxing has announced the end of its partnership with Chantelle Cameron, a former undisputed 140lb world champion. This decision came to light last month, concluding the relationship between the two parties. Matchroom issued a statement expressing good wishes for Cameron's future pursuits.
Anthony Joshua's ex-trainer Robert Garcia said he will support former British rival Oleksandr Usyk in an absolute world heavyweight title fight against Tyson Fury.
"I want to see Usik become the absolute champion and maybe retire from boxing after that. He has accomplished a lot in boxing, fought some great fighters. If Usik beats Fury, he will be one of the greatest super heavyweights in history. I'd love to see the really small guy accomplish that.
Also, I was very pleased with how Fury performed against Francis Ngannou. I think he just disrespected boxing, didn't care what people might think or say about him. I don't think he prepared for this fight and that's disrespectful to boxing because everybody takes the sport seriously. Everybody should take it seriously. It's a serious sport, people can die in the ring. So I would like to see Usik win," Garcia said in an interview with FightHype YouTube channel.
Recall that the fight Usik - Fury will be held on May 18 in Saudi Arabia.

The dispute pertains to the repeatedly postponed heavyweight fight between Usyk and Tyson Fury, now scheduled for May 18, 2024. This showdown is set to determine the undisputed heavyweight champion, holding all four major belts for the first time since 1999.

Set for July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, this event is not only sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations but also it will be Netflix's first live sport broadcast.

Teofimo Lopez quickly pitched a fight proposal to Ryan Garcia following Garcia's recent victory over Devin Haney at the end of April.
