Daniel Cormier, a former two-division UFC champion, criticized the judging in Valentina Shevchenko's fight with Alexa Grasso.
“In the fifth round it wasn’t 10-8. This is simply strange... The second round for Grasso, as for me, she won the fourth, but if you count differently, then Valentina will be the champion. It's a pity, this fight deserved a winner. These two women put everything on the line and fought beautifully. As for the draw... I don’t understand how the score came to be 10-8...,” said DC.
Let us remind you that the fight between Shevchenko and Grasso ended in a draw.
