Cormier highly appreciated the possible fight between Makhachev and Topuria

Former UFC champion in two weight categories, and now commentator and analyst Daniel Cormier spoke about the possible confrontation between Islam Makhachev and Ilia Topuria.

“It is obvious that many significant fights are taking place under the auspices of the UFC. However, I am not sure that right now the league can organize a more grandiose confrontation than the fight between Topuria and Makhachev, if they agree to fight. Ilia Topuria is considered an undisputed favorite in a confrontation with every UFC fighter, except perhaps Islam Makhachev. And this in itself speaks to how highly they rate Ilia Topuria, especially after he became the UFC lightweight champion, winning against Charles Oliveira,” — cites Cormier’s words the portal Sportskeeda.
