A rematch is expected between Chris Eubank Jr. (32-3, 23 KOs) and Liam Smith (33-3-1, 20 KOs) will be held this summer in Liverpool. The contract for the first fight contained a rematch clause, which is expected to be activated in the near future.
On Saturday, Smith knocked out Eubank in the fourth round, despite not being a favorite in the eyes of bookmakers and pundits. Both boxers after the fight expressed a desire to cross their gloves again.
The first confrontation became the main event of the evening in Manchester. 18,000 spectators watched the fight from the stands.
