Jake Paul (12-2, 7 KO) lost his spot in the WBA cruiserweight rankings after a recent premature defeat at the hands of Anthony Joshua. The fight took place within the heavyweight limit.

The 28-year-old boxer appeared in the World Boxing Association (WBA) rankings in July after defeating Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.. The American's ranking sparked debate in the boxing community.

Subsequently, Paul expressed his desire to meet Francis Ngannou in his next professional fight. Last year, the blogger held two fights under professional boxing rules.
