Davis and Lamont Roach Jr. were set to face off again on August 16 in Las Vegas. The fight hasn't been officially announced yet, but fans were looking forward to it. Now, that rematch might not happen.

This isn't the first time Davis has been in trouble with the law. He got arrested in 2022 right before he was supposed to fight Hector Garcia. People are saying this is his 20th arrest overall.

British boxer Conor Benn didn't hold back when he heard the news. In an interview with iFL TV, Benn said:

"He's an idiot, listen I don't care who you are, how much world titles you've got you can shove your world titles up your a–, you lay a hand on a woman, you lay a finger on a woman, you deserve to be never be able to fight again, and banged up for life … I ain't sharing a ring with him, he's a scumbag, putting your hands on a woman? Not once, it's his 20th arrest, I don't condone it at all."

Benn made it clear he won't ever fight Davis because of this. He's got his own big fight coming up - a rematch with Chris Eubank Jr. on September 20 in London.

The Guardian reported more details about Davis' arrest. It's not clear yet what will happen with his upcoming fight plans.
