Hamzah Sheeraz wants to fight Canelo Alvarez. The rising super middleweight contender sent a message to the Mexican champion, showing he's ready to step in the ring.

Sheeraz just beat Edgar Berlanga, and now he's setting his sights higher. He respects Canelo a lot but isn't scared to face him.

Sheeraz said:

"I won't sit here and talk bad about someone like [Canelo]. But it would be an honor to share the ring with him. Someone who I've looked up to. But one thing I can guarantee is that if I ever share the ring with Canelo, it's not going to be like what happened in his last fight [against William Scull], where his opponent was trying to run. I promise you, even if I get knocked out, I'll stay there and fight him. So, I'll put on a good performance, because that's what it's all about."

Sheeraz made it clear he won't run from Canelo like William Scull did in their recent fight. He promised to stand his ground and give fans a great show, even if he gets knocked out.

If Canelo beats Crawford in their potential match-up, Sheeraz will likely take another fight to stay sharp. He'll be ready to face Canelo, whether it's for a title or not.

Sheeraz's bold statement shows he's confident and eager to test himself against the best. He wants to prove he belongs at the top level of boxing.
