Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford are getting ready for a big fight. The two boxing stars will face off on Saturday, September 13, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

While both fighters are gearing up for their showdown, they've got different opinions on who's the greatest boxer of all time. Canelo believes it's Muhammad Ali. In an interview with GQ, he said:

"The best in the world – of all time."

Crawford, on the other hand, thinks Sugar Ray Robinson deserves the top spot. He shared his thoughts in an interview with SHOWTIME:

"The GOAT right now, well, it's Floyd [Mayweather] but all time it's gotta be Sugar Ray Robinson."

The fight was announced in May, shortly after Canelo's victory against William Scull. That win allowed Canelo to capture the undisputed crown at 168lbs for the second time.

Canelo, a Mexican boxing icon, and Crawford, nicknamed 'Bud' from Omaha, are both aiming to make history. Many fans and experts already think they're among the best ever. For Crawford, who's 37, the stakes seem even higher. He could become the first male fighter to win an undisputed championship in three weight classes.

This fight is shaping up to be a wild weekend in boxing, with two modern greats going head-to-head. Both fighters will try to cement their legacies and prove they're the best of their generation.
