Froch commented on Fury’s demands for “fair treatment”

“Recently I read Fury’s statement, where he complains about his loss to Usyk. He said he wants fair treatment in the third fight. In their first match, he was lucky that the fight wasn’t stopped in the ninth round. The referee essentially intervened and saved him. Then the rematch, another attempt and another disappointment. Losing to a person like Usyk is not shameful. He is one of the best in history. But now, when you’re retired, you can’t step in front of the cameras and say you want ‘fair judging, fair fighting.’ You’ve already had two fair chances, and the judges made the right decision. Not once, but twice. You lost fairly and squarely. Tyson, you’re good, but not as good as you think. You have a huge reach and height advantage over Usyk, you weigh a lot. You were beaten by a smaller guy, essentially a light heavyweight, who moved up to heavyweight and bulked up. Accept the loss with dignity, it’s over for you, so come to terms with it and move on,” concluded the former super middleweight champion.
