Paul controlled the fight from the start, leaving Chavez Jr looking underwhelming. Critics didn't hold back on Chavez Jr's performance.

After the win, Paul made it clear he wants a world title shot soon. He called out several champions, including Gilberto Ramirez (WBA and WBO cruiserweight champ), Badou Jack (WBC cruiserweight champ), Anthony Joshua (two-time unified heavyweight champ), and Gervonta 'Tank' Davis (WBA lightweight champ).

Paul's pro record now stands at 12-0 since his 2020 debut. At 28, the Cleveland native currently ranks 14th in the WBA cruiserweight division.

Roy Jones Jr, the former pound-for-pound king, shared his thoughts on Paul's world title chances. When asked how far Paul is from a legitimate world championship fight, Jones said:

"Two, I think he could do it."

There's talk about a possible exhibition match between Paul and 'Tank' Davis before the year ends. But we'll have to wait and see if that actually happens.

Paul's quick rise in boxing continues to grab attention. He's shown he can beat former champs like Chavez Jr. Now, he's got his sights set on the biggest names in the sport.
