Manny Pacquiao Teases Comeback Against Gervonta Davis: "I'm Not Done Yet"

Pacquiao hasn't fought since 2021 when he lost his WBA welterweight title to Yordenis Ugas. Now, he's aiming to make history by becoming the oldest welterweight champion ever.

The former eight-division world champion isn't shy about his goals. In a recent interview with Seconds Out, Pacquiao said:

"I can fight anybody, even like Gervonta Davis … I'm not scared of anybody."

Pacquiao's promoter, Sean Gibbons, has even bigger plans for the future. He told World Boxing News:

"When he beats Mario Barrios, line them up. His dream fight is Gervonta Davis. He loves that fight. He tried to get that fight for a couple of years. Gervonta kept talking about how he didn't want to fight him at 145. Then he goes and gets smoked by Lamont Roach. So Manny Pacquiao can get this belt, and it's going to be a wonderful ride out."

Speaking of Davis, the WBA lightweight champion has some unfinished business of his own. He's expected to face Lamont Roach Jr in a rematch later this year. Their first fight in March at the Barclays Center in New York ended in a split decision draw after a closely fought contest.

The boxing world will watch closely as Pacquiao attempts his comeback. If successful against Barrios, we might see some exciting matchups in the near future.
