Former world champion in heavyweight boxing Tyson Fury shared his prediction for the upcoming title fight in his division between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois.
"Daniel is currently in great shape - he defeated Miller, Hrgovic, Joshua. But Usyk is in a more advantageous position - two fights of 12 rounds each scheduled for 2024. That’s cool. I’ve always thought Usyk will definitely defeat him in the rematch. He did it once — he will do it again. However, it is impossible to predict this for sure, this is heavyweight boxing. Daniel is a great fighter, very strong and big," Fury stated in an interview with the YouTube channel Kanał Sportowy.
Let us remind you that Usyk and Dubois will have a rematch on July 19 at Wembley Stadium in London. The first fight between the boxers took place in August 2023 and ended with a knockout victory for the Ukrainian in the ninth round.
