Anthony Joshua's Chances Against Tyson Fury? Carl Froch's Verdict Leaves No Room for Doubt: "It's a Simple Answer"

Fury and Joshua have been talked about as potential opponents for years. Many fans want to see them face off, and it might happen this year. But Froch doesn't think it'll be a close fight.

Fury announced he was retiring in January after losing to Oleksandr Usyk for the second time. It's the fourth time he's said he's leaving the sport, so some people aren't sure if he'll stay retired.

Joshua, who's 35 and from Watford, is at a tricky point in his career. He lost in a big upset to Daniel Dubois, the IBF heavyweight champion, last September at Wembley Stadium. Dubois knocked him out, which was a shock to many.

After that loss, Joshua had elbow surgery. The operation went well, and he'll be ready to fight again from September.

On his YouTube channel, Froch On Fighting, Carl Froch gave his opinion on how a fight between Fury and Joshua would go:

"After Joshua got absolutely ironed out by Dubois, and look how good Fury looked against Usyk in that rematch, I think that Fury runs rings around AJ mentally and just physically. More ability, but mentally going into the ring, I think AJ would struggle badly with that fight, but that's just my opinion for what it's worth."

Froch thinks Fury is better than Joshua in every way. He believes Fury has more skills and would be stronger mentally if they fought.

Fury says he's done with boxing for good this time. But he's said that before, so some people think he might come back.

As for Joshua, he might fight Dillian Whyte again or take on Deontay Wilder. A lot of people have wanted to see Joshua and Wilder fight for a long time.

We'll have to wait and see what happens next in the heavyweight division. But if Froch is right, a fight between Fury and Joshua might not be as close as some fans hope.
