Floyd Mayweather and Thomas Hearns have got boxing fans talking again. People can't stop wondering who'd win if these two legends stepped into the ring together.

Mayweather ended his career in 2017 with a perfect 50-0 record. He won world titles from super-featherweight all the way up to light-heavyweight. 'Money' beat some of the biggest names in boxing, including Oscar De La Hoya, Manny Pacquiao, and Canelo Alvarez. His last fight was a win over UFC star Conor McGregor.

Hearns, known as the 'Hitman', made his mark in the 1980s. He was the first boxer to win world championships in five weight divisions, from super-featherweight to light-heavyweight. In 1987, he grabbed the WBA light-heavyweight title at 175lbs. Hearns was part of the 'Four Kings' along with Sugar Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler, and Roberto Duran. One of his most memorable moments came when he knocked out Duran in 1982 to defend his WBC light-middleweight title.

Between them, Mayweather and Hearns racked up an impressive 16 world titles. That's a lot of gold to go around!

Former world welterweight champion Shawn Porter recently shared his thoughts on this dream matchup. Speaking to ProBox TV, Porter said:

"It is what it is y'all. Hitman takes that, it is what it is. When I went back and watched a little bit of Hitman's career, watch like how he is originally from the amateurs and stuff like that, I truly don't think Tommy was as skilful as you would expect given how much boxing he had done at a young age and grew up doing the sport, he wasn't quite as skilful as I personally would have expected him to be but he knew what he was doing."

Porter's opinion might surprise some fans. He thinks Hearns would beat Mayweather, even though he feels Hearns wasn't as technically skilled as expected. It just goes to show how tough it is to predict these fantasy matchups.

We'll never know for sure who'd come out on top between Mayweather and Hearns. But one thing's certain - it would have been an incredible fight to watch.
