Both fighters have busy schedules ahead. Jake Paul will step into the ring on June 28 at the Honda Center in Anaheim. He'll take on Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, a former WBC world middleweight champion. This bout marks a step up in competition for Paul, who's been steadily climbing the boxing ladder.

Davis, the WBA lightweight champion, has his hands full too. He's gearing up for a rematch with Lamont Roach Jr in August. Their first fight on March 1 ended in a controversial split decision draw, leaving fans eager for a definitive outcome.

But it's the potential November clash between Davis and Paul that's got everyone talking. Hearn dropped this bombshell in a recent statement:

"I know he's fighting Jake Paul in November, and then maybe [Shakur] Stevenson after that."

This news hasn't gone down well with everyone in the boxing world. Shakur Stevenson, the WBC lightweight champion, feels snubbed. He believes he should be next in line to face Davis.

"Man Tank [is] disrespectful to the sport, if he chooses [Jake Paul] over fighting with me,"
Stevenson said in a recent interview.

Stevenson didn't hold back, adding, "I'm the best fighter in the sport, I've been telling them that. He called cap on it so if he wanna call cap and say I'm not who I say I am, come prove it brother."

The rivalry between Davis and Stevenson has been simmering for years. Fans and boxing experts have long clamored for a showdown between these lightweight stars. A bout between them would be one of the biggest fights boxing has to offer right now.

For now, though, it seems Jake Paul might have jumped the queue. The boxing world waits with bated breath to see if this November mega-fight will indeed materialize.
