Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez and Terence Crawford's big fight has a new promoter. Turki Alalshikh, an Arab sheikh, has taken over from Dana White to organize the bout.

The fight was supposed to happen on September 12 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Alalshikh made the announcement after Canelo beat William Scull in early May. At first, Dana White was in charge and even got the two boxers to face off for the cameras.

But then they found out about other events happening on the same day. There's going to be a UFC event, a women's basketball game, and a college football game all at the same time. That's when Alalshikh stepped in with his company, Sela, to take over.

Now, they might change the date to September 13 to match up with UFC Night. They could also move the fight to a different place to avoid all the other stuff going on in Las Vegas.

Canelo, who's from Mexico, usually fights in May and September. His September fights are special because they celebrate Mexico's Independence. Boxers like to fight on Saturdays, and Canelo's been doing his patriotic fights for a while now.

If they do move the fight, they might go to Los Angeles. They could use SoFi Stadium or the Crypto.com Arena where the Lakers play basketball. If they stay in Las Vegas, they'll need to find an arena or casino that'll pay a lot of money to host it.

This change in plans shows how tricky it can be to set up big boxing matches. There's a lot to think about - the date, the place, and what else is happening that day. But with a new promoter on board, fans can still look forward to seeing Canelo and Crawford face off soon.
