The fighters met face-to-face for the first time at a heated press conference. Paul, known for his provocative style, didn't hold back. He mocked Chavez Jr.'s past struggles with addiction, calling him "Cocaine" and claiming he could beat both Chavez Jr. and his father.

"There are two things you can't beat: me and your drug addiction," Paul taunted. He added, "I can beat both Chavez. The father and the son."

Chavez Jr. fired back, emphasizing his experience and commitment to the sport.

"When he was born, I was already champion," Chavez Jr. stated. "I'm much better than him, I haven't taken a blow to the head in years. I know he's strong, but if I prepare 100 percent, I'm going to beat him."

He also dismissed Paul's recent victory over Mike Tyson, saying, "Mike Tyson is not even an active boxer."

Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. joined in, supporting his son and criticizing Paul's boxing experience.

"Jake Paul is young and strong, but he hasn't fought a real boxer. There's no way he's going to beat my son," the elder Chavez declared. He added colorfully, "With all due respect, we're going to f*** this b****** up."

The fight presents different opportunities for each boxer. Paul aims to cement his legitimacy in professional boxing after facing mainly former MMA fighters and celebrities. Chavez Jr., who's been away from the elite level for years, sees a chance to clean up his name and assert his family's legacy.

Golden Boy Promotions will promote the event, with Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez featuring in the co-main event. The matchup promises to be a clash between social media celebrity and traditional boxing lineage, offering Chavez Jr. a shot at redemption and Paul a real test of his boxing skills.
