Freddie Roach Reveals Pacquiao's Secret Weapon for Barrios Fight: "He's Benjamin Button"

Pacquiao, now 46, hasn't fought professionally in four years. His last bout ended in a points loss to Yordenis Ugas, after which he announced his retirement. But the Filipino legend isn't done yet. He's eyeing another world title to add to his already impressive legacy.

Justin Fortune, Pacquiao's former strength and conditioning coach, believes the fighter still has what it takes.

"It will be a good fight; Pacquiao is still strong, fast and very experienced."

Lightweight fighter Giovanni Cabrera also thinks Pacquiao's unique style could be a game-changer.

"For most conventional fighters, it doesn't matter who you are or how old you are, the important thing is the angle. When Manny Pacquiao slides in and connects with the left, it's something hard to deal with. If George Foreman did it, Pacquiao can do it too."

But not everyone's convinced it'll be smooth sailing for Pacquiao. Amir Khan, who's sparred with Barrios, has some words of caution.

"Virgil Hunter and I used to train together, I used to train a lot alongside Barrios. He's a very good boxer. I don't know how much Manny has left. If they were in their prime I would say Pac-Man would win. But this could be a tricky fight for him."

Barrios, also known as the "Aztec Warrior," is no pushover. At 29 (he'll be 30 on fight night), he's significantly younger than Pacquiao. He recently defeated Yordenis Ugas and now holds the WBC welterweight world title, though some question its legitimacy due to Terence Crawford's move up in weight classes.

Pacquiao's recent activities raise some eyebrows. He hasn't fought officially in four years, and his exhibition match against Rukiya Anpo didn't go as planned. Meanwhile, Barrios had a close fight with Abel Ramos on the Tyson-Paul card.

If Pacquiao wins, he'll cement his status in boxing history. But the age gap and his long break from the sport could play a big role. One thing's for sure - all eyes will be on this comeback fight come July 19.
