The fighters will meet at 160lbs, a weight that Eubank Jr. feels comfortable at despite a 10lbs rehydration clause. For Benn, who naturally fights at 147 pounds, this weight class is completely new territory.
In an interview, Brook leaned towards Eubank Jr. as the favorite. He explained:
"It's a good fight. I think the weight is a big [factor] in the fight. I've got to favour Eubank just because of the size, the long arms. He's been at a higher level than Conor. Conor's not got to that level yet. But it's a big fight, a good fight. Conor's training very hard. They both are. It's a pick 'em fight, very interesting, but I lean towards Eubank."
Both fighters have been active recently. Benn has fought twice at 154lbs, winning both bouts on points. Eubank Jr. faced some setbacks when Liam Smith stopped him, but he quickly avenged that loss in a rematch. Last October, he stopped Kamil Szeremeta in seven rounds.
The fight was originally set for October 2022 but got canceled after Benn tested positive for a banned substance twice. It was rescheduled late last year when Benn's provisional suspension was lifted.
The long-awaited showdown will take place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this Saturday. Boxing fans can't wait to see how this intriguing matchup will play out.
