Lennox Lewis Reveals Surprising Pick for Dubois-Parker Clash: "Not What You'd Expect"

Parker and Dubois were set to face each other, but the fight got called off when Dubois fell ill with a virus. Dubois holds the IBF world title and is one of the top fighters in the division right now. Parker, on the other hand, has been racking up impressive wins, beating Zhilei Zhang and Deontay Wilder on points.

When Dubois couldn't make it, Parker ended up fighting Martin Bakole instead. Parker made quick work of Bakole, knocking him out in the second round. Bakole, who's from Congo, had recently beaten Carlos Takam and Jared Anderson, making Parker's win even more impressive.

After watching Parker's performance, Lewis shared his thoughts on a possible Parker vs Dubois fight. He told BoxNation:

"I want to see that fight. I think it's going to be a great fight."

When asked who he thinks would win, Lewis said:

"The best man, but right now Daniel Dubois is the top man right now, he's the man holding the belt so Parker has to come good, but Parker has the ability to win as well."

Parker wants to reschedule the fight with Dubois. He's trying to become a two-time world champion and feels he deserves a shot based on his recent wins against tough opponents.

There's a chance Dubois might skip the Parker fight and go straight for an undisputed bout with Oleksandr Usyk instead. But for now, fans and experts alike are eager to see if Parker and Dubois will finally face off in the ring.
