Next fight of Joseph Parker is not determined yet.
Two New Zealanders, Junior Fa (19-0, 10 KOs) and Joseph Parker (27-2, 21 KOs) have a long history of amateur fights and many subsequent unsuccessful negotiations in the pros. Recently, it seemed that they were going to take rematch in the pro ranks, but the parties again failed to reach a financial agreement. Mark Caddell, the manager of Fa tried to explain the situation.
Perhaps in the near future we will witness the fight for the vacant (or temporary) WBO heavyweight belt between Oleksandr Usyk (17-0, 13 KOs) and Joseph Parker (26-2, 20 KOs). According to David Higgins, the promoter from New Zealand, although Usyk is higher in the rankings of the World Boxing Organization, Parker should get a larger percentage of the total purse for the fight.
Joseph Parker (26-2, 20 KOs) said that, as soon as the opportunity arose, he'd be ready to fight for the WBO heavyweight belt against Oleksandr Usyk (17-0, 13 KOs). The title of the World Boxing Organization belongs to Anthony Joshua (23-1, 21 KOs) now, who, however, may soon vacate this trophy.
In February, the former European heavyweight champion Derek Chisora (32-9, 23 KOs) will hold his next professional bout. This was stated by Eddie Hearn, the head of Matchroom Boxing. The fight of the 35-year-old Briton should become the main event of the boxing evening in Manchester.
