Gervonta Davis, the undefeated WBA lightweight champion, has picked his top three boxers of all time. The hard-hitting fighter, who's knocked out 28 of his 30 opponents, chose Floyd Mayweather, Sugar Ray Leonard, and Pernell Whitaker as the greatest to ever lace up the gloves.

Davis has made quite a name for himself in the ring. He's held titles in three weight classes, from super-featherweight up to super-lightweight, and now rules the lightweight division. His next fight is set for March, where he'll defend his title against Lamont Roach.

When it comes to boxing greats, Davis put Floyd Mayweather at the top of his list. Mayweather, who worked with Davis early in his career, ended his career with a perfect 50-0 record. He won world titles in five weight classes, from super-featherweight all the way up to super-welterweight. Mayweather beat some of the best in the business, including Manny Pacquiao, Oscar De La Hoya, Shane Mosley, Miguel Cotto, and Juan Manuel Marquez.

Sugar Ray Leonard got the second spot on Davis' list. Leonard also won world titles in five weight classes and was the undisputed welterweight champion. He finished his career with 36 wins, 3 losses, and 1 draw. Some of his biggest wins came against Thomas Hearns, Marvin Hagler, and Roberto Duran.

Pernell Whitaker rounded out Davis' top three. Whitaker won world titles from lightweight all the way up to super-welterweight. He ended his career with 40 wins, 4 losses, 1 draw, and 1 no contest.

"These guys were the best of the best," Davis said in an interview with Premier Boxing Champions. "They had skills, they had power, and they knew how to win. That's what I'm trying to do in my career."

Davis' choice of Mayweather is interesting, given their current strained relationship. The two worked together early in Davis' career, but things have cooled off since then.

While Davis is making headlines with his boxing picks, he's also been in the news for other reasons. He's recently been trading words with pound-for-pound star Terence Crawford, stirring up excitement among boxing fans.

As for his own career, Davis is set to defend his lightweight title in March. He'll face Lamont Roach in a fight that was rescheduled from an earlier date. If Davis keeps winning, he might just end up on someone else's list of all-time greats in the future.
