Du Plessis called McGregor a true MMA legend

Dricus Du Plessis, the current UFC middleweight champion, shared his opinion on the promotion's former two-division champion Conor McGregor.

"Everything Conor touches turns to gold. He's a true legend of the sport. He's managed to turn MMA into a mainstream sport. I understand what I don't like about the man. However, when you are just around him, you become a different person yourself. Even if you don't like him, you can never criticize him for what he has done for the sport. In my opinion, every MMA fighter should thank Conor for raising salaries in this sport, as well as for increasing his popularity," BJ Penn quoted Du Plessis as saying.
