In the main event at the O2 arena in London Vasyl Lomachenko (14-1, 10 KOs) scored a unanimous decision win over Luke Campbell (20-3, 16 KOs), and added to his two titles WBA and WBO the vacant WBC lightweight belt. The scores were 119-108 twice and 118-109.

Unified lightweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko and his opponent in the fight on August 31 in London Luke Campbell underwent the official weigh-in procedure. Both fighters without problems met the weight limit of 135 pounds. Lomachenko was 134.5 lbs, Campbell was 134.25 lbs.

On Saturday night of boxing in Mexico WBO Latino and WBC Latino heavyweight champion undefeated Tyrone Spong (13-0, 12 KOs) will have his next fight. Spong of Suriname will face Jason Minda (14-1-1, 8 KO) of Ecuador. Spong returns to the ring after a break due to a hand injury received in December.

On Thursday the final press conference took place before boxing evening at the O2 Arena in London. In the main event of the evening Vasyl Lomachenko (13-1, 10 KO's) will face Luke Campbell (20-2, 16 KOs). At the stake of the meeting there will be WBA, WBO and WBC lightweight belts. Broadcast of the fight is scheduled for Saturday, August 31, with the beginning at 3 pm ET. Lomachenko vs Campbell fight starts at about 5:45 pm.

Povetkin and Fury at the final press conference
