Vasyl Lomachenko at a meeting with ESPN team, which will comment his fight on August 31 in London, said he did not say that he is the best boxer in the world.
"I did not say this, my words were changed," Lomachenko said in response to a statement by Timothy Bradley, who said that he first heard that the Ukrainians called himself the best in the world. "I saw the news with these my words, but never said it."
"So you do not believe that you are the best fighter in the world?" Bradley continued to ask.
"No, I believe it, but do not say that," Lomachenko explained. "I don't want to say this about myself. I talked about Crawford, Canelo, Usyk. Each boxer has his "ego", so I think I'm the best, and somebody else believes that he is the best.
