Yarde prepares for Kovalev fight (video)

On August 24 in Chelyabinsk there will be a fight between WBO light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev (33-3-1, 28 KOs) and  Anthony Yarde (18-0, 17 KOs), the official challenger for World Boxing Organization belt. For Kovalev this will be the first title defense, that he won in February after winning a rematch against Eleider Álvarez. In the United States, this fight will be shown on ESPN. For the British it will be the first opportunity in his career to win a world championship belt.

Usyk's fight is scheduled for October 12 in Chicago

Stevens losses by knockout in his debut fight at junior middleweights

A former contender for the world middleweight title Curtis Stevens (30-7, 22 KOs) lost by knockout in the third round to Whaley Omotoso (28-4, 22 KOs) at the boxing evening in Brooklyn, NY. The time was 1:28. For 34-year-old American it was a debut in the junior middleweight division. Stevens returned to the ring after more than a year's layoff and fell on the floor three times before the bout was stopped. For Omotoso it was one of the most valuable victory in his professional career.
