Next fight of Naoya Inoue is not determined yet.
In the main event of the Top Rank evening in Las Vegas Naoya Inoue (21-0, 18 KOs) stopped Michael Dasmarinas (30-3-1, 20 KOs) in the third round and defended his WBA and IBF bantamweight belts. The Japanese sent his opponent to the floor three times with punches to the body. After the second fall in the third round, the fight was stopped. For Inoue, this was the mandatory defense of his IBF championship belt.
According to bookmakers, Naoya Inoue (20-0, 17 KOs) is the clear favorite for the main event of the evening on June 19, which will take place in Las Vegas at the Virgin arena live on the ESPN platform. At stake in the meeting, scheduled for 12 rounds there will be bantamweight WBA and IBF belts.
The recently opened Virgin Hotels complex in Las Vegas will soon be hosting Top Rank limited-attendance nights. Former world featherweight champion Shakur Stevenson (15-0, 8 KOs) will face Jeremy Nakatila (21-1, 17 KOs) here on June 12.
In March or April IBF and WBA World Bantamweight Champion Naoya Inoue (20-0, 17 KOs) will have his next fight in Japan. The IBF has announced that the next opponent will be Michael Dasmarinas (30-2-1, 20 KOs), who is the official contender for the International Boxing Federation title.
